ALLY & ANGELA

Ally and Angela Kgosana are a fun, yet focused, couple with over 20 years of experience in ministry. Over the years, God has used them to pioneer University campus ministries, organize youth conferences in the townships of South Africa, and minister at various churches in South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Swaziland, and the United States.

Though Ally and Angela’s lives in ministry began separately, they have complemented each other’s gifting and call exceptionally well as a couple. At age 18, Ally knew God had called him to full-time ministry and began Bible College in 2000. With sound instruction in Bible and Theology, Ally launched into University campus ministry leadership and traveled in Africa doing youth conferences. While Ally pursued his heart for ministry right after high school, Angela took a different route to ministry. Angela attended Clemson University in Clemson, SC. She earned a BA in English and then began a University campus ministry while studying for her MA in Professional Communication. It was during those years that Angela received the call to full-time ministry. Excited about the change of life plans, Angela began sharing her faith with every student she came across and started Bible leadership courses at Destiny International Leadership, now KingsGate College in Oklahoma City, OK.

Ally and Angela started and pastored Banquet House in Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa, for three years. Because of the demand to travel to different areas in South Africa and Botswana, Banquet House later merged with In Christ’s Footsteps in Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa. In the act of faith, Ally and Angela moved to the US in 2017.

Now, after years of training, serving, and front-line engagement in ministry, Ally and Angela began The Awakening Movement, based in Florence, SC, which is a para-church ministry focused on strengthening, edifying, and comforting the body of Christ through prayer, worship, and the prophetic.

​

Angela and Ally have been married for almost nine years, and they are the proud parents of 5-year-old Ben and 1-year-old Arabella.
